My two great loves have always been animals and art and I have pursued both throughout my life. At school I developed my love for drawing but went onto a career in veterinary nursing which I still enjoy.
I rediscovered my love of drawing when I was asked to create a pet portrait for my niece and from that moment I was hooked!. l sought out different ways to express myself artistically. yet always returned to my favourite medium, the humble pencil and honed my skills drawing the animals I loved most, my own pets.
I now draw for others and I love creating realistic and highly detailed portraits of animals, capturing their unique and wonderful personalities. Whilst pets, wildlife and nature are my favourite subjects, I’m not limited to them so if you have an idea for something else in mind, please don’t hesitate to ask.
